USWFS EU T3 Helo Fire - Fort Wainwright, AK

The contractor must provide one light helicopter, personnel (pilot-in-command with relief pilot, fuel service vehicle driver with relief driver, and mechanic with relief mechanic), a fuel servicing vehicle and fuel (lower 48 States only), and all other associated equipment. Missions include fire suppression, fire monitoring, initial attack, prescribed fire and aerial ignition, law enforcement limited to non-threatening surveillance and reconnaissance, transport of personnel and cargo, retrieval of smokejumpers, and other administrative and related resource activities. The aircraft will be subject to the exclusive use and control of the Government 24 hours per day, 7 days per week during the exclusive use period and any extension. The designated base of operations is Fort Wainwright (Fairbanks), Alaska, but the aircraft may be dispatched anywhere in Alaska, Canada, or the lower 48 United States.
