This solicitation is to perform preventative maintenance checks on the Mass Notification System at the Eastern Air Defense Sector (EADS), Rome, NY, as outlined in the attached PWS. The Eastern Air Defense Sector requires annual preventative maintenance for its Outdoor Mass Notification System to ensure its operational readiness and reliability. The system is critical for base-wide alerts and communication.
The period of performance shall consist of one 12 month base year and four 12 month option years.

Award will be made to the lowest price offer that can meet the criteria of the RFQ and PWS that is a small business registered in sam.gov.
This is a total small business set aside under NAICS 561621.
Vendors must provide a quote for ALL option years required. Partial quotes will not be considered.

The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control necessary to perform preventative maintenance checks on the Mass Notification System at EADS, Rome, NY. The system includes two Federal Signal Central Control Base Station Units, one Federal Signal Siren Tower RTU, one Federal Signal IPSIU interfaced to base LMR, and three Federal Signal Indoor controllers. Tasks include inspection of connections, speakers, amplifiers, control boards, power/voltage, batteries, wiring/fuses, antenna, cabinets/conduit, security, siren pole, motors/sensors, rings/clutches, contacts, and exterior surfaces. The contractor must also optimize the system, set up new messages, and provide parts/labor for repairs identified during maintenance, with COR approval required for repairs over $300. The period of performance is one 12-month base year and four 12-month option years, with services performed between 0730-1630 Monday through Friday at Building 700.
