FY27 Medical Physics Inspection Services

The contractor shall provide one quarterly visit (minimum six hours) to perform annual quality assurance testing and certification of all diagnostic x-ray and imaging equipment (including MRI, CT, mammography, nuclear medicine, PET/CT, and dental units), acceptance testing of new or relocated equipment, structural shielding design calculations and surveys, fluoroscopy inspections of lead protective garments, CT protocol reviews, and support for the Radiation Safety Committee. The contractor must also provide written reports within five days of inspections, respond to emergencies within two hours, and perform all work with their own calibrated equipment. Services are performed at the James A. Haley VA Hospital (13000 Bruce B. Downs Blvd., Tampa, FL), Hidden River PCA, Sabal Park, Lakeland Outpatient Clinic, New Port Richey Outpatient Clinic, and South Hillsborough Outpatient.
