The project is required to correct identified pavement deficiencies, restore the pavement to an acceptable operational condition, and prevent continued deterioration across the designated parking lot areas.

The project includes mill-and-overlay and full-depth reconstruction: at Building 836, approximately 21,200 square feet of pavement will receive a 2-inch mill and overlay, while approximately 485 square feet requires a minimum 4-inch full-depth reconstruction; at Building 31, Section 2 requires a 2-inch mill and overlay covering approximately 32,000 square feet, while Section 6 requires a minimum 4-inch full-depth reconstruction totaling about 5,060 square feet. Work includes demolition and removal of existing pavement, subgrade preparation, base aggregate placement and compaction, asphalt pavement placement and compaction, striping, and traffic control.
