IIS USFS Tanbark Hazard Tree Removal

The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, necessary permits, and other items to perform tree removal and trimming. The work includes felling 75 trees, grinding slash and removing from site, decking boles at designated areas, leaving stumps at 6 inch height; trimming 21 trees and grinding slash; trimming 2 trees at the end of an unpaved road; providing straw filled coir log rolls at the downhill perimeter of the chipping area; and providing, installing, and removing pre-engineered bridging or stability product over a previously washed-out area capable of supporting tree removal operation equipment. The contractor must also provide a qualified biological monitor and submit pre-work submittals including an Accident Prevention Plan and Environmental Protection Plan.
