This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.
Solicitation number 1284LM26Q0124 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the 2026 Pike Mountain Pine Beetle Spray.
This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 115310. The small business size standard is $11M. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.

The contractor shall spray designated (flagged) ponderosa pine trees at Meridian Campground (100 trees), Flat Rocks Campground (75 trees), Indian Creek Campgrounds (75 trees), South Meadows Campground (450 trees), and Blue Mountain Campground (100 trees). All bole surfaces including root collar and exposed roots must be treated up to a minimum of 50 feet or where trunk diameter is less than 5 inches. Spraying must occur in early morning hours, not if wind exceeds 5 mph, and not within 75 feet of water. Improvements must be covered with plastic tarps. The insecticide used will be carbaryl. Timing of spraying will occur in fall after campgrounds close (as early as October 1) or in spring April-May 2027, completed prior to campground opening dates approximately May 16, 2027.
