The contractor shall provide all labor, transportation, materials, equipment, and supervision to remove and replace the roofing on Roof 3D, PT Roof, Roof 10, and Roof 11 at the Wilmington VA Medical Center. The work includes demolition and removal of all existing roofing material and insulation to fully expose the decking, disposal of demoed material, preparation of steel decking and brick walls, removal of items no longer in use, repair of all roof drains to original interior diameter, and installation of a new roofing system consisting of 60 Mil Elevate RubberGard EPDM LS-FR white roofing material or equivalent, flat tapered insulation, and HD cover board. The contractor must also install new pipe collars and pipe flashing, ensure the roof slopes to drain with no puddled water after rainfall, and provide a 20-year warranty on the weather-tight integrity of all parts involved. The contractor is responsible for metal decking inspection and replacement in areas identified and approved by the COR, and must provide a unit price per square foot for replacement metal decking and concrete decking.
