Solicitation number 12639526Q0244 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Pesticide Strip - DDVP, Small. DDVP insecticide strips are used to capture certain species of exotic fruit flies of concern to U.S. agriculture. The insecticide strip is a primary surveillance tool used to detect populations of these pests.
This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 325320. The small business size standard is 1,150 Employees. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
The contractor must supply DDVP insecticide strips meeting specified salient characteristics (Dichlorvos Technical 0.090 grams, T711 Plastisol 1.061 grams, etc.), packaged in resealable bags of 25 strips, then in cardboard boxes not exceeding 20 pounds, on pallets not exceeding 56 inches. Each shipment must include a Safety Data Sheet and packing slip. Delivery is FOB destination to Edinburg, TX within 60 days of order. The contract is an IDIQ with five ordering periods, minimum order $1,000, maximum order $800,000.
