M48 Filter Coating and Painting

The contractor shall clean and coat all parts in accordance with the drawings and specifications provided. Work includes chromate conversion coating and/or CARC painting (Green 383 CAMO or Tan 686A CAMO) on six M48 filter component part numbers: Cap Filter Inlet, Filter Body and Outlet Assembly, Outer Mesh Assy, Inner Mesh Assy, Outer Gas Mesh Assy, and Channel. The contractor must provide a Certificate of Conformance with each shipment documenting chemicals and paint used, and submit salt fog coupon testing results per Method 509.5 of MIL-STD-810 before the first shipment. The contractor is also responsible for a Property Management Plan for Government-furnished property. Delivery is FOB Destination to Pine Bluff Arsenal with a schedule of three shipments and returns.
