The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to remove existing flooring and install new resilient flooring and base in occupied healthcare facilities with minimal disruption, improving durability, infection control, safety, and maintainability. Work shall comply with FAR, VAAR, VA, ICRA standards, and SCVAHCS requirements. Contractor shall field-verify all quantities and conditions prior to installation; any discrepancies must be reported to the COR immediately.
No substitutions for specified products without CO approval. Work shall be performed in full accordance with the technical specifications including, but not limited to: Sections 00 01 15, 01 33 23, 01 35 26, 01 45 00, 01 57 19, 01 74 19, 02 41 00, 02 82 13.19, 07 84 00, 09 05 16, 09 65 19, 09 68 00 (demo only), and 09 91 00 (touch-up painting). The Contractor shall execute all work in accordance with the VA provided phasing drawings and written direction, including the sequencing for Buildings 2, 1, 28, and 29.
No deviations from the approved phasing shall occur without written approval from the COR and CO. Each building shall be fully completed before mobilizing to the next, unless otherwise directed in writing. POP: 565 days after NTP
