Tree Pruning and Deadwood Removal, NPS-WHIS

The contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, equipment, testing, and supplies necessary to complete tree pruning and deadwood removal at Whiskeytown National Recreation Area, Shasta County, CA. Work includes pruning of 14 oak trees and one Oregon Ash tree in accordance with ANSI A300 (Part 1) -2023 Pruning, removing all dead limbs larger than two inches DBH throughout the canopy, performing 25% retrenchment/crown cleaning and reduction, and possible removal of Tree 15 if recommended by the ISA certified arborist. The contractor must furnish a full-time ISA-certified Arborist supervisor, all equipment meeting OSHA and safety requirements, and comply with ANSI Z133.1-2017 safety standards. Work shall be performed between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays, and should occur between October 1st and March 31st. The contractor is responsible for daily cleanup, removal of all wood and debris, and protection of cultural resources, existing vegetation, and park facilities.
