The requirement is for commercially available library resources that support global access, including for users in locations with limited or no internet connectivity. This acquisition is being issued as a combined synopsis/solicitation and Request for Quotation (RFQ) under FAR Part 12 procedures for commercial items.
This requirement is being competed on a full and open basis. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose quotation meets the solicitation requirements
The contractor shall provide monthly books and audiobooks to sixty-three (63) Department of the Air Force (DAF) Library locations supporting remote and isolated installations. The contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, materials, packaging, shipping, transportation, administration, and supervision necessary to deliver the required kits. The contractor must provide reliable monthly selection lists of new release or high demand titles, access to pre-publication lists, a multi-tier web-based system for review and selection, real-time stock check, and shipping via USPS First Class and Priority Mail, UPS, FedEx Ground, or similar to APO addresses. Items received in error or unacceptable condition shall be replaced and shipped at no additional cost.
