The work consists of maintenance dredging to address shoaling within tributary channels, with all material placed within nearby placement areas along the GIWW. Schedule No. 1 involves dredging approximately 959,000 CY between High Island and Causeway in West Galveston Bay. Options include dredging of Galveston Alternate Route (40,000 CY), Offats Bayou Channel (86,000 CY), Ferry Channel (102,000 CY), and two options for beneficial use placement at Joycelyn Nungaray.
