CT X-Ray Machine Removal and Disposal Services

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.

Solicitation number 70US0926Q70092813 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for CT X-Ray Machine Removal and Disposal Services.

The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this solicitation is 562998 – All Other Miscellaneous Waste Management Services.

This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov.

The Government has determined that the acquisition circumstances deem only one source is available, and the basis for the decision is pursuant to FAR 12.102(a) (FAR Class Deviation 25-21).

The United States Secret Service (USSS) intends to solicit and award a purchase order on a sole source basis for CT X-Ray Machine Removal and Disposal Services to Surescan Corporation.

The contractor shall perform removal and disposal of one Detect 1000 CT X-ray machine.

A list of line-item number(s) and items, quantities, and units of measure:

• Removal and disposal of one Detect 1000 CT X-ray machine.; 1 each

Period of performance: 12 months from date of award.

This notice is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement. No telephone responses will be accepted. A determination by the U.S. Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the U.S. Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any information submitted by respondents is strictly voluntary.
