METC Commercial Internet Services

The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, other items, and non-personal incidental services necessary to furnish, install, test, and provide hardwired commercial internet capability (dedicated fiber optic internet access) for Department of Combat Medics (DCMT) at 3375 Corporal Johnson Rd, Bldg. 1374, Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) - Fort Sam Houston, TX 78234. The contractor shall install, furnish, and test one (1) Gbps of commercial internet access circuit delivering to building 1374, extending to building 1375. The contractor shall install all new equipment required to support the service and perform testing to ensure fully operational connectivity is available. The contractor shall provide a proposed project schedule reflecting a timeline to complete all activities needed to provide the fully operational internet access circuit no later than (NLT) 90 days after date of contract (ADC). The contractor shall monitor on premise equipment, connectivity, signal quality, and capacity 24/7/365 and notify the government within four (4) hours during normal duty hours if there is a degradation of services being provided; provide the Government web-based access to a dashboard monitoring capability; provide the Government at a minimum a 2-week notice of maintenance actions that could impact the end-users; dispatch maintenance personnel to repair on premise breaks within one (1) work day; provide a customer support phone number for service related issues. The contractor shall provide support for installation and internet connectivity access for the duration of the contract, including helpdesk support to include remote troubleshooting during normal work hours and capability for content filtering/security controls.
