Assault Craft Unit Four (ACU-4) has a requirement for the recurring annual services for twenty-two (22) fuel nozzles. The required services include cleaning, operational testing, and minor repairs as needed. These fuel nozzles are critical components of the Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) fuel manifolds on the Landing Craft, Air Cushion (LCAC) vessels.
PLEASE NOTE: The Government intends to award this requirement on a sole-source basis to Sherwood Aviation (CAGE: 3EM37), located in Opa-locka, FL. As confirmed in the associated Justification and Approval (J&A) for Sole Source, Sherwood Aviation is the only manufacturer authorized to perform the required maintenance and repairs on these proprietary fuel manifolds. No other substitutes are available.
