Generator Service
The selected vendor will perform preventative maintenance (basic PM twice annually), load testing and major PM every three years, and oil analysis yearly on a fleet of generators across City of Madison facilities. Services include lubrication, fuel system checks, cooling system maintenance, battery testing, electrical inspections, exhaust system checks, mechanical inspections, control verification, and automatic transfer switch (ATS) testing. Major PM includes all basic PM items plus oil and filter changes, fuel filter replacement, air filter replacement, cooling system flush, and a simulated utility power failure load transfer test. The vendor must provide written field service reports for each visit documenting findings, deficiencies, corrective actions, and recommendations.
