The project includes four stages: storm sewer construction from IH 41 to the Fond du Lac River; IH 41 inside lane pavement repairs and asphalt shoulder resurfacing; IH 41 outside lane pavement repairs and asphalt shoulder resurfacing, ramp work including pavement repairs, asphalt shoulder resurfacing and storm sewer; and IH 41 median work including grading, guardrail replacement and cable barrier replacement. The contract also includes interim completions with liquidated damages for specific ramp closures, lane rental fee assessments, traffic control, coordination with utilities and railroads, and environmental protections.
