Marsteller Middle School HVAC Modernization + Addition

The Work consists of the complete modernization of the existing HVAC system, including installation of a geothermal well system, as well as the construction of an approximately 10,191 SF classroom addition and an approximately 14,725 SF addition comprising classrooms, administrative areas, and a secure vestibule. Renovation work includes selective demolition of existing spaces to accommodate expansion of the cafeteria, kitchen and interior circulation areas. Building-wide upgrades include replacement of low-voltage systems, ceilings, and lighting.

Site improvements consist of ADA upgrades, expansion of parking areas, reconfiguration of vehicular circulation and bus loop, and implementation of stormwater management measures. The overall scope of work includes, but is not limited to, masonry, concrete, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and systems demolition and improvements. All equipment and furnishings indicated in the contract documents shall be provided by the Contractor unless otherwise noted.
