Laredo College District - Invitation for Request for Proposals
The Board of Trustees of the Laredo College Districtis inviting qualified contractors to submit a request for proposal for “ElevatorMaintenance and Repairs Services”.

Bid Submission Deadline:
All sealed proposals must be submitted by 3:00 p.m.Central Time on Thursday, October 22, 2026 and participants will be readout loud at 3:15 p.m. on the same day.
The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, replacement parts, tools, equipment, transportation, software, technical support, permits, and incidentals necessary to maintain all covered equipment in a safe, reliable, fully operational, and code-compliant condition. The scope includes preventive maintenance (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and operational systems), inspection and testing services (annual inspection, Category 1 and 5 testing, firefighter emergency operation testing, etc.), repair services (controllers, motors, hydraulic pumps, door operators, etc.), emergency response services (24/7 with specified response times), ADA and accessibility requirements, regulatory compliance, safety requirements, parts and materials, reporting requirements (electronic service reports, monthly reports, annual assessment), modernization and capital improvement services, environmental requirements, and federal compliance requirements. The Contractor must maintain a 98% equipment operational availability and comply with all required inspections and testing schedules.
