HHSC PCS is seeking competitive bids to establish contract(s)for interior painting for Building 674 at the San Antonio State SupportedLiving Center.
People whorequire ADA accommodations and wish to attend or participate in the pre-bidmeetings and require auxiliary aids or services should contact the Sole Pointof Contact identified in Section 6.1(Sole Point of Contact and Communications), at least seventy-two (72) hoursbefore the meeting in order to have reasonable accommodations made by HHSC.
Attendees, inperson, are required to sign an attendance log at the conference or on-sitevisit. HHSC will not be held responsible for an attendee’s failure to sign inon the attendance log.
For conferencecalls and webinars, participants will be added to the attendance log and shouldhave the following information ready and properly announced or submitted:
a) Legalbusiness entity name or name of individual which will be used if submitting aresponse to this IFB or subcontractor acting on behalf of the legal businessentity;
b) Name andtitle of each representative on the call or webinar; and
c) E-mailaddress for the point of contact.
HHSC will conduct two (2) mandatory on-site visits at the location specified below on thedate and time identified in the Procurement Schedule (cover page of this IFB)or on the date and time established in subsequent Addenda.
The on-site visit will include a review of the IFBrequirements as well as a walk-through of the facility.
Attendance atone site visit is mandatory. Failure to attend in person will result in thedisqualification of a Bidder. Bidders not listed on the attendance log will notbe permitted to submit a Response.

The required services to be provided are interior painting services for building 674 located at San Antonio State Supported Living Center. Services shall include painting of all walls, with the corridors, lobby, dining room, fourteen (14) bedrooms (room numbers 101, 102, 103, 104, 105, 106, 107, 119, 120, 123, 124, 125 and 126), eight (8) restrooms (room numbers 112A, 114, 115, 135B, 130, 129, 127B AND 128A), laundry room (excluding the linen closet), doors, window frames (including hallways and recreation room window frames) and associated trim work. Only window frames that have existing painting shall be painted. Metal doors are to be painted, wooden doors are to be stained. Services shall be performed with minimal interruption to the buildings’ residents and while the building is occupied and during the residents’ normally scheduled activities. The awarded Contractor shall repair and paint all existing drywall damages, dents and imperfections. All furniture and items shall be removed from residents’ rooms by facility staff prior to painting and will be returned and set up by facility staff.
