This solicitation is to establish a contract for pole mounted traffic signal controllers for TxDOT’s Regional Distribution Center, Athens location.

The contractor must supply pole mounted traffic signal controllers meeting TxDOT Departmental Specification TO-4048, which covers a shelf-mounted 16 phase full-actuated solid state controller unit with internal Time-Based Coordination (TBC), railroad/fire (emergency vehicle) preemption, diamond intersection operation, and closed loop secondary operation in a traffic signal controller assembly and cabinet assembly. The cabinet assembly includes the cabinet, flasher, card rack(s), a Malfunction Management Unit (MMU), an external power supply, and flash transfer relays. The specification details requirements for the controller unit, MMU, TS-2 cabinet assembly, detector panel and card rack, preempt/communication panel, power supply, two circuit solid state flasher, load switches, documentation, testing, and warranty.
