Fort Bend Independent School District ("District" or "FBISD") is seeking proposals from qualified plumbing suppliers and properly licensed plumbing contractors to provide plumbing parts, materials, maintenance, repair, and related services on an as-needed, districtwide basis. The resulting contracts will support the maintenance, repair, and operation of FBISD schools, administrative facilities, athletic complexes, transportation facilities, kitchens, and other District-owned or District-operated locations.
The solicitation is divided into two independent categories. Category A covers the purchase and delivery of commercial and institutional plumbing parts, fixtures, equipment, repair components, consumable supplies, and related materials, including flushometers, faucets, drinking fountains, copper pipe and press fittings, PVC/CPVC pipe, cast-iron drain products, backflow prevention assemblies, water heaters, pumps, gas-piping parts, hydrants, and consumables. Category B covers districtwide plumbing maintenance, diagnostics, testing, repair, replacement, and emergency response services, including preventive maintenance, routine repairs, drain clearing, backflow testing, water heater and pump repair, and emergency response. The contract excludes new construction, facility additions, utility extensions, and capital improvement projects.
