Release Day Transportation RFP

The contractor must provide release day transportation to clients from all MDOC facilities (except Marquette, Baraga, and Alger facilities) to an approved location such as an approved housing location or parole office. The contractor must participate in transition team meetings, assess transportation needs and provide ADA and accessible transportation, ensure drivers are properly cleared and maintain valid licenses and insurance, and maintain records of program activity. The contractor must have capacity to conduct up to 3 transports per day and up to 60 per calendar month, and must follow specific procedures for in-reach and non in-reach parolee transportation. The contractor must also complete MDOC-required training, comply with CJIS and PREA requirements, and submit monthly invoices within 15 calendar days after each monthly invoicing period.
