The contractor will collaborate with the special populations manager and English learner consultant to provide technical assistance, support compliance monitoring and evaluation, and review district reporting. The estimated yearly hours are 400-500 per year dependent upon availability of funds. The contractor must have knowledge of state and federal legal requirements related to English learner instructional programming, experience providing technical assistance to districts regarding English learner programs, and knowledge/experience establishing English learning programs including teacher certification requirements, associated costs, selecting instructional materials and supervising or coaching English learner instructional staff.
