The procurement is for a heavy equipment simulator system for MDOC. The initial delivery order is for 2 simulators, possibly from different vendors, to be installed at Handlon Correctional in Ionia, MI, with the State reserving the right to add locations. The simulator must cover common construction equipment such as excavators, skid steer, and wheel loaders, and provide an immersive experience. One multi-equipment simulator with common components is acceptable. The vendor must come onsite for installation and initial set up, and provide instructor training (train the trainer). The vendor must list their full equipment options, simulation models, display capabilities, training curriculum, and expected milestones.
