The Adult Probation Department (APD) seeks proposals to provide program evaluation and training services for certification of Batterers’ Intervention Programs (BIPs) in accordance with California Penal Code §§ 1203.097 and 1203.098.
Batterers’ Intervention Programs are a critical tool used by the criminal justice system. APD relies on these community-based programs to deliver batterers’ intervention services to adults mandated to participate in such programs. California Penal Code 1203.097 mandates that these programs are evaluated annually to ensure compliance with legal requirements and effectiveness of the programs.

Most California work asks for the two below, and the solicitation documents are where it’s stated. One prequalification covers both — on this bid and the next.
A surety’s written statement that it expects to bond you up to a stated amount, subject to final underwriting. It’s what an agency asks to see before they take your bid seriously.
