This Invitation for Bids (hereinafter "IFB" or "Solicitation" is being issued by the City and County of San Francisco Office of Contract Administration (hereinafter, "OCA" or "City"). Contractor shall set up and operate one to three waste diversion stations at Dolores Park on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. during the operating season (approximately mid-April through mid-September). Duties include staffing stations with at least one onsite supervisor and three staff members, sorting waste into recycling, compost, and landfill streams, providing Zero Waste and Leave No Trace education to park visitors, monitoring perimeter receptacles, providing litter removal at restroom areas, collecting daily waste diversion data, and submitting weekly and final season reports. Contractor must also coordinate for special events including Pride Weekend, and all on-site workers must be at least 21 years old.
