The South Carolina Vocational Rehabilitation Department (SCVRD) is seeking a contractor to provide refuse collection and disposal services, including roll-off container rental, at multiple office locations throughout South Carolina.
The contractor shall provide and service four 30-yard and four 40-yard roll-off containers at six SCVRD office locations (Aiken, Greenwood, Orangeburg, Walterboro, Laurens, and Sumter) for the duration of the contract. Services include on-call pick-up, disposal of refuse (paper, rags, bottles, metal, boxes, cloth, cans, cartons, crates, worn out articles of equipment and furniture, etc.), cleaning and disinfection of containers at least once per month, and maintaining equipment in proper working order. The contractor must have sufficient equipment and personnel, and use of subcontractors is strictly prohibited.
