2026 Emergency Pre-Emption Detection

Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified check in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. No bid may be withdrawn for the period of days stated in the bid form from the date the bids are opened. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% each of the Contract amount and a Maintenance Bond in the amount equal to 15% of the contract amount, thereafter required on the specified Bond Forms included in the Contract Documents and Contractor’s Release of Liens.
The right is reserved to waive any immaterial defect or informality in the Bid, to reject any or all Bids for any cause whatsoever, to eliminate any item or items from the contract, and to accept any Bid which is deemed most favorable to the Owner, at the time and under the circumstances stipulated. Quantities are not guaranteed and may vary (+/-).
All bids shall remain subject to acceptance for sixty (60) days after the Bid Opening or for such period that Bidder may agree to in writing upon request. Bids may be withdrawn within two (2) business days after the opening of bids only by the withdrawing Bidder’s strict compliance with 73 P.S. Section 1602 and any subsequent amendments.
The work in this contract shall be paid for in accordance with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act No. 442)
A prebid meeting will not be held for this project.
