CHEMICAL TANK CLEANING, REMOVAL, AND DISPOSAL OF SULFURIC ACID (H2S04) AND SODIUM HYDROXIDE (HaOH), TERM CONTRACT
Services include cleaning, removal, and disposal of at least 93% of all residual sludge from the interior of sulfuric acid and caustic water storage tanks. The successful bidder must enter the tank, remove all residual sludge, and completely clean the interior using a mild caustic solution to decontaminate and neutralize the interior. All waste material must be containerized and manifested for proper disposal. The bidder must also perform 3-year physical inspections of the tanks, including detailed interior and exterior inspection, wall thickness measurements, and other techniques, with a final report signed and sealed by a State of Florida Licensed Engineer. Work is performed at WTP #3 (13026 Jog Road, Delray Beach, FL), WTP #9 (22438 SW 7th Street, Boca Raton, FL), and WTP #11 (39700 Hooker Highway, Belle Glade, FL).
