The successful bidder shall perform fire hydrant inspection, testing, and maintenance on approximately 21,000 hydrants per year (minimum 1,750 per month), including exercising isolation valves, flow testing, lubrication, and documentation. The bidder shall also perform as-needed repairs, replacement, and new installation of fire hydrants, as well as hydrant painting and flow testing, all in accordance with AWWA Manual M-17 and manufacturer specifications. The bidder must assign a project manager with at least five years of field and supervisory experience, provide weekly work schedules, and ensure all work is completed within specified timeframes (e.g., 14 calendar days for surficial well chemical treatment and testing).
