The New York City Department of Citywide Administrative Services ("DCAS") is issuing a solicitation to obtain bids for a Requirements Contract for DOC Baked Goods. The contractor must deliver baked goods in two classes: Class 1 includes fresh-baked kosher whole wheat bread (NY State Sourced, 4x1oz slices per pack, 48 packs per case), fresh-baked whole grain pre-sliced bread (NY State Sourced, 28-32 slices per loaf), light rye Swedish style crisp bread (WASA brand or equal), and pre-sliced carrot sheet cake (NY State Sourced, Stern brand or equal); Class 2 includes fully-baked frozen muffins in assorted flavors (banana oatmeal, bran, blueberry, NY State Sourced, individually wrapped 2.5 oz, 60 per case). All items must meet NYC Food Standards, avoid specified additives, and where indicated be NY State Sourced. Deliveries are made to DOC locations including Riker's Island (18-18 Hazen Street, East Elmhurst, NY), Monday through Friday 6am-12pm, with weekly deliveries required unless otherwise noted, and the vendor must schedule appointments for delivery.
