BWT-1646-PWC: to provide all necessary labor, parts, materials and equipment for pipe wrapping Work, with pipes at maximum operating pressures below 1,000 psi, at various WRRFs, pumping stations, and associated DEP facilities. The pipes are used to convey various fluids throughout the wastewater treatment process. This Competitive Sealed Bid (“RFx”) is being released through PASSPort, New York City’s online procurement portal. Responses to this RFx should be submitted via PASSPort. The contractor must furnish all labor and materials necessary for pipe wrapping at various WRRFs, pump stations, and associated DEP facilities. The pipes are used to convey various fluids throughout the wastewater treatment process. The work includes sandblasting to an SSPC-SP10 standard, which is covered under time and materials line items and the Parts and Materials Allowance. Gas/air monitoring is not billable as a separate line item and must be factored into overhead. The contract requires a cure time of at least 24 hours for the wrapping system, or in accordance with the manufacturer's latest data sheet, whichever is greater. The contractor must also comply with prevailing wage requirements and submit a NYSDOL certificate within PASSPort.
