The contractor will build 3.48 miles of wildlife-friendly laydown fence on the western portion of the Fletcher and Stover pastures, on the rim overlooking Camas Creek. The fence must meet ODFW and NRCS specs: 3-strand Oklahoma barbed and smooth woven wire at a max height of 40 inches, with barbed on the bottom 2 strands and smooth on top. T-posts (1.33, 5.5-foot) are spaced at 30 ft, stays at 10 ft, rock jacks every 60 ft, metal pipe (2 3/8 or 2 7/8 diameter) at 300 ft spacing, H braces every 0.25 miles, and double H corners. The contractor must provide materials for rock jacks or pipe posts, cribs, and H braces (BABA compliant), follow ODFW fire requirements, supply fire suppression tools/water, provide a detailed work timeline, and use ODFW-approved access routes. ODFW will supply 1,400 T-posts, 4,000 stays, 100 split stays, 7.75 miles of barbed wire, 4.5 miles of smooth wire, retaining wire, and staples.
