Summary
This RFP issued by OCC to solicit proposals from qualified Contractors for technical assistance to work with OCC’s staff, including its outside federal counsel, primarily on energy issues coming before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), and PJM. The Contractor may be asked to work with other advocates, including Consumer Advocates of the PJM States (CAPS) and the National Association of State Utility Consumer Advocates, to assist OCC in formulating and advocating consumer protective policies and practices. To the extent that consumer protection policies and practices are developed and translate to issues within the PUCO’s jurisdiction, the Consultant may be asked to assist in integrating its federal work into PUCO proceedings.
