CALUMET AVENUE SEWER REHABILITATION
NIAGARA FALLS, NY
Sealed bids for the above mentioned project in the City of Niagara Falls, New York, will be received by the offices of the Niagara Falls Water Board, 5815 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls, New York 14304 Attn: Douglas Williamson, P.E. on or before 2:00 P.M. local time, September 3rd, 2026, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud at the same location.
Please be advised that a Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled for August 19th, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. at the Niagara Falls Wastewater Treatment Plant, 1201 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls, New York 14304.
The Contract Documents can be viewed and ordered through the following website on or after August 4th, 2026: www.avalonplanroom.com in the Public Section. If you do not have internet access or have questions on ordering from the site, please contact Avalon Document Services at (716) 995-7777. Drawings and Specifications can be picked up at Avalon Documents printing at 40 La Riviere Drive, Suite 150, Buffalo, NY 14202, upon providing a non-refundable payment to Avalon. Payments can be made by credit card or by check made payable to Avalon Document Services.
Copies of the above described Contract Documents may be examined at no expense at the NFWB Administration Building, 5815 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls, New York 14304, and are also available at the offices of Construction Exchange 2660 William Street Cheektowaga, New York.
Each proposal must be accompanied by the deposit of a certified check, payable to the Niagara Falls Water Board, for a sum equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid, or a bond with sufficient sureties in a penal sum equal to five percent (5%) of such total bid amount, in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders.
Upon acceptance of his Bid, if the successful bidder fails to enter into a Contract pursuant to the requirements of the Contract Documents, or fails to give the further security prescribed in this Notice, with the same time limited therein, then the check deposited as foresaid and the monies standing to the credit of the same, shall be forfeited to the Niagara Falls Water Board as liquidated damages, or the payment of the bond enforced for the benefit of the Niagara Falls Water Board.
The Niagara Falls Water Board reserves the right to waive informalities in or to reject any and all bids.
