OPWDD’s Contract Management Unit, on behalf of Taconic DDSOO, is soliciting sealed bids from responsible and qualified contractors to perform Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and Water Heater Inspections, Start Up, and/or Maintenance and Repair/Replacement Service for sites throughout Columbia and Greene Counties. The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to, annual start up service, inspections, and maintenance of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Systems and Water Heaters and emergency services and non-emergency repairs/replacements beyond inspections and/or maintenance.
Experience, financial resources, and applicable insurances are required. All bidders should submit at least three (3) work references that will verify that the bidder or its principals have at least three (3) years of relevant experience to complete the work as listed in Qualifications and Scope of Work. Bidder will be required to comply with all local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and ordinances governing the performance of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and Water Heater Inspections, Start Up, and/or Maintenance and Repair/Replacement Services.
Contract will be awarded to the responsible and responsive bidder that provides the lowest Total Estimated Annual Combined Cost for all required services.
Prevailing Wage will apply.
Please be advised: Effective December 30, 2024, all contractors and subcontractors submitting bids or performing construction work on public work projects covered by Article 8 of the Labor Law are required to register with the New York State Department of Labor under Labor Law Section 220-i.
