BOOKKEEPING, ACCOUNTING, AND CONTROLLER SERVICES
The Washington County Land Holding Corporation, operating as the Washington County Land Bank, is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide bookkeeping, accounting, QuickBooks setup, and outsourced controller services.
The selected firm will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the Land Bank’s QuickBooks accounting system, monthly bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, financial recordkeeping, grant and property cost tracking, annual budget assistance, and monthly financial reports for the Board of Directors.
The firm will also provide support for annual Public Authorities Reporting Information System reporting, including PARIS budget and annual reports, and will prepare financial records and schedules for the Land Bank’s independent annual audit.
The selected firm will be required to participate in two financial meetings per month and provide monthly financial reports by the deadline established for each Board meeting.
The Land Bank is a newly established organization with an annual budget of less than $2 million and anticipates a relatively limited volume of financial activity during the first three years.
The anticipated professional services contract will be for a three-year period, subject to annual Board approval, satisfactory performance, and continued funding.
Proposals must include the firm’s qualifications, relevant experience, proposed personnel, approach to the services, references, and a fee proposal for each of the three contract years.

The Washington County Land Bank reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive minor irregularities, request additional information, negotiate terms, and select the proposal determined to provide the best overall value.
