OPWDD's Contract Management Unit for Staten Island DDSOO is soliciting sealed bids from responsible and qualified contractors to provide Roof Repair and Recoating and related services to Staten Island DDSOO buildings at 930 Willowbrook Road, Staten Island, NY 10314.
There is a MANDATORY site visit for this procurement. Please see details in the IFB. All bidders MUST attend if they wish to submit a bid.
Work is to be completed within 30 days of contract approval. Prevailing Wage will apply. References, experience, financial resources, and applicable insurances are required. OPWDD may request bidders to submit at least three references associated with three different projects (OGS, public, or private sector) of similar scope and size to the one identified in this IFB that can provide evidence of the contractor having experience in related work.
OPWDD intends to award a contract to the responsible and responsive bidder who attended the Mandatory Site Visit and provides the lowest Total Combined Cost for these services.
Please be advised: Effective December 30, 2024, in order to be qualified to work on public works projects covered by Article 8 of the Labor Law all Contractors (including Subcontractors) must be registered with the New York State Department of Labor (NYSDOL) in accordance with Labor Law § 220-i. Contractors must be registered before submitting a bid. In addition, Contractors must be registered prior to commencing any new work. Contractors must submit their Certificate of Registration at the time the bid is made. If not done so already, Bidders should visit the NYS Department of Labor website link below to be sure that they meet this requirement.
