Boonville – NY Forward
The Village of Boonville seeks proposals from qualified firms to provide full-service planning, design, engineering, SEQRA environmental review, permitting, bidding, and construction administration/reporting services. This project, part of the Village's DRI/NY Forward initiative, will enhance downtown gateways and the Main Street corridor at the northern and southern entrances to downtown Boonville along NYS Route 12 and NYS Route 12D-Main Street.
This project aims to attract travelers from NYS Route 12 into Boonville's historic district by creating welcoming northern and southern gateways that showcase the Village's historic, quaint downtown and invite visitors to "Discover Boonville."
The RFP is seeking a professional firm for Design, Engineering and Construction services related to the implementation of improvements to Main Street and the Gateways at NYS Route 12 and 12D.
The RFP is available at the Village offices 8 am – 3 pm M-F in person or via email. Minority and Women Business Enterprises are encouraged to submit proposals. The village board may reject any or all submissions and the right to waive any informalities and/or permit minor exceptions and select RFPs that will most benefit the village’s use of public monies.
The village board will rank the responses received on an evaluation of technical skills, experience, familiarity with similar projects and the village of Boonville, references and Federal and State Requirements. The village of Boonville reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to conduct interviews at their discretion.
Packets shall be placed in a sealed envelope addressed to the Village of Boonville, Atten: Lisa Kaiding, Grants Administrator, 13149 State Route 12, Boonville NY 13309; be plainly marked on the outside of the envelope: “RFP – Boonville - NY Forward”; and be delivered to the address above by 2:00 pm on August 17, 2026.
