Scope of work: is to include all necessary labor, material and equipment for the demolition of the existing space and the build-out of approximately 1,675 square feet (including mechanical space) at the basement level of Weiskotten Hall at Upstate Medical University. The objective is to create a dedicated Learning Disability Testing Center that will serve students from all four of our colleges. The testing center will feature 16 semi-private student stations, three fully private student spaces, two staff offices, a changing room, and one reception desk. Additionally, we will require cameras and monitoring equipment to oversee students as they take their tests. All work on this Contract is to be completed within 240 calendar days after the date of the Notice to Proceed. Accordingly, a deposit check of $49.99 , made payable to SUNY Upstate Medical University , is required. Deposits less than $50.00 are nonrefundable. Deposits will be waived for certified Minority and Women Owned and Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses. (Under SFL 143 the campus has the option to waive the deposit requirement where bid documents “are made available and obtained electronically or in any non-paper form by the agency”. If the campus wishes to waive the deposit for all bidders, delete the above paragraph). A site visit to the area where the work is to be performed has been deemed to be necessary to fully understand the parameters and constraints which affect the preparation of the bid for the same.
