IFB #C001077 Internet Point and Insurance Reduction Program (I-PIRP) Monitoring

The New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (referred to herein as the “Department” or the “DMV”) is requesting bids for the award of a Contract for the development, implementation and administration of a program to monitor the activities of accident prevention courses delivered by Alternative Delivery Methods (ADM).

Article 12-C of the NYS Vehicle and Traffic Law permits DMV to conduct a program to assess the delivery of the NYS Motor Vehicle Accident Prevention Course, commonly referred to as the “Point and Insurance Reduction Program” (PIRP). PIRP courses conducted via Alternate Delivery Methods (ADM), such as internet courses, are referred to as the “Internet Point and Insurance Reduction Program” (I-PIRP).
