The powerhouse roof is roughly 34 feet long and 22 feet wide. The roof has a 1 on 2 slope leading up to the ridge; there is a portion where the roof slope transitions from the 1 on 2 to a 1 on 3 slope a few feet from the eave. A description of the required supporting services and details are located in the RFP on NYPA's Ariba platform.

The scope includes re-shingling the roof, replacement-in-kind of drip edge, wood trim, soffit/fascia, and roof decking that is rotted or badly weathered. Wood must be primed and painted to match existing. Underlayment will be replaced. Asphalt shingles must be Grand Manor – Color: Colonial Slate; underlayment must be GAP WaterGuard Rain & Ice Protection (or approved equivalent). Single underlayment for the 1 on 2 slope, double underlayment for the 1 on 3 slope. A comprehensive Health and Safety Plan (HASP) must be provided prior to start of work.
