The contractor is responsible for installing all pathways, conduits, and supports needed for future cabling and hardware; installing code-compliant J-hooks above the ceiling and/or raceways; installing ceiling-to-wall conduit pathways for HDMI and network cables; providing one ceiling pathway and rough-in box for a future ceiling-mounted wireless access point; installing wall outlets and power at front and back walls; supplying and installing a recessed, ceiling-mounted motorized lift; installing dedicated power at the ceiling projector location; prepping and painting the designated front wall projection area with non-gloss, glare-reducing paint; demolishing the existing stage and carpet flooring; patching slab area under carpet; demolishing existing knee wall at front entry; removing existing door and frame and reinstalling in a lower location; constructing approximately 26' of new light gauge metal stud wall with 5/8" drywall on both sides; prepping and painting new walls to match existing; reworking the existing acoustical ceiling to tie into new walls; reworking existing electrical outlets to lower them to standard height; reworking existing light fixtures in the new storage room; installing new data raceways for projector; and installing new carpet tiles throughout the area including new 4' cove base.
