The Bidder shall perform services throughout Mississippi including: effectively and safely responding to emergency incidents on land and water; providing personnel and equipment to contain spills, recover contaminants, and clean up gross contamination; monitoring sites with air surveillance and environmental sampling; sampling hazardous and non-hazardous materials; analyzing samples or providing 24-hour laboratory services; neutralizing releases; decontaminating personnel, equipment or structures; removing contaminants from sunken vessels or vessel discharges; transporting hazardous or non-hazardous materials, waste, and samples; deploying boom, skimmers, or other spill response equipment; excavating areas where hazardous or non-hazardous materials may be buried; performing pressure and non-pressure chemical transfers; and performing other related tasks as needed. Materials encountered include pollutants, oil, hazardous substances, hazardous waste, biomedical waste, chemical or biological warfare agents, solid waste, unknown materials, or any material regulated by MDEQ or the federal government.
