The work shall consist essentially of the following items: Construction of new road from the intersection of Poole Street and Old Highway 49 tracking westward across CPKC railroad then turning northward crossing a CPKC spur line to a roundabout intersecting of an extension of Factory Shop Boulevard and then proceeding northward crossing Interstate 10 with an overpass to a roundabout intersecting with an extension of Daniel Boulevard. The work will consist of clearing and grubbing, earthwork, drainage, concrete sidewalk, bridge work, road work (asphalt, stone base, cement) striping, signage, and roadway lighting. All other related items of work required to complete the project as shown and specified in the Contract Documents.
