To all potential Proposing Firms:
This email and the attached Request for Qualifications and Price Proposal (“RFQ/P”) concerns the
following project being commissioned by the Pickens County Government (“Pickens County”) under the
direction of the Board of Commissioners of Pickens County, Georgia (“BOC”) and its Chairman:
Construction Management at Risk Services for the Roper Park Improvements Project
Pickens County is seeking proposals from qualified Proposing Firms for the performance of construction
management at risk services (“CMAR Services”) for the Roper Park Improvements Project (“Project”),
which will be comprised of two (2) components:

1. Aquatic Facility Component - - The construction of a new aquatic facility

2. Major Park Improvements Component - - The construction of major non-aquatic park
   improvements
   Each component will be comprised of a Preconstruction Phase and a Construction Phase.
   The successful Proposing Firm will serve as Construction Manager (“CM”) for the Project and, as such,
   will perform CMAR Services during the Project. In this regard, the CM will work with Pickens County
   and the Project Architect in a prescribed manner on:

6. Arranging proposal packages

7. Awarding individual trade contracts and soliciting prior proposals related thereto

8. Managing construction until full occupancy is achieved
