A. For Personal Care - Total contract services are estimated at 20,208 hours annually and

A. The purpose of this solicitation is to procure the best value for the City of Baltimore (City)

Services Agencies in the State of Maryland to provide Aides to service elderly clients in their
homes. Services shall be personal care services with light housekeeping and homemaker services
(chore). Contractors must offer each area of services. Personal Care Services will include, but not
limited to, care associated with daily living such as bathing, toileting, dressing, transferring,
grooming, light housekeeping, where the client spends the majority of their time, etc. Chore
Services will include, but not be limited to, cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, damp mopping, laundry,
cleaning the refrigerator interior and exterior, wiping down and inside the oven, wiping inside the
window, meal preparation, etc.
B. The Contractor shall provide and pay for all labor, materials, vehicles, parts, equipment,
time travel, lodging, delivery, employee payroll and benefits, and all other supplies and services
necessary for and reasonably incidental to furnishing the products or services specified herein,
except where otherwise specified as being the responsibility of the City.
