2.28 mi of hot mix asphalt base crushing, shaping and resurfacing, intersection improvements, aggregate shoulders, drive approaches, and pavement markings on College Road from Jolly Road to Forest Road, Farm Lane from Mt. Hope Road to Forest Road, and Forest Road from Farm Lane to College Road, Ingham County. This is a Local Agency project.
In addition to the above minimum prequalification requirement for prime contractors this project includes subclassifications of Ea and N9-2D. If the prime contractor is not prequalified in those subclassifications it must use prequalified subcontractors. Those subcontractors must be designated prior to award of the contract to the confirmed low bidder.

Most Michigan work asks for the two below, and the solicitation documents are where it’s stated. One prequalification covers both — on this bid and the next.
A surety’s written statement that it expects to bond you up to a stated amount, subject to final underwriting. It’s what a GC or agency asks to see before they take your bid seriously.
